Giovalli Botello Rodriguez

Miss Panama US – 2026-2027

Giovalli Botello Rodriguez is a proud Brooklyn native of Panamanian descent, with deep cultural roots in Panama through both her mother and father. Her maternal roots trace to the province of Colón, a connection that has helped shape her appreciation for Panama’s heritage, traditions, and vibrant cultural identity.

A recent graduate of Brooklyn College, part of the City University of New York (CUNY), Giovalli earned her degree in Environmental Science and Urban Policy. A passionate advocate for education and positive social change, she believes in the importance of using knowledge and opportunity to strengthen communities and inspire future generations. Her academic interests reflect her appreciation for the natural world and her desire to better understand the relationship between people, cities, and the environment.

Giovalli’s connection to Panama extends far beyond her ancestry. Since the age of 14, she has participated in Panamanian ballet folklórico, embracing the dances, music, and traditions that celebrate Panama’s rich and diverse cultural heritage. Through folkloric dance, she has found a meaningful way to honor her roots while helping preserve and share Panamanian culture in the United States.

No stranger to the responsibilities that accompany a crown and sash, Giovalli has previously served as a title holder, making Miss Panama US her second title. Her prior experience has given her an understanding of the dedication, professionalism, discipline, and responsibility required to represent a community with distinction. As she enters this new chapter, she does so with a clear understanding that a title is not simply an honor, but an opportunity to serve.

Hardworking, focused, and determined, Giovalli approaches her goals with purpose and perseverance. She prides herself on following through on the ambitions she sets for herself and embraces challenges as opportunities for continued growth.

Beyond her academic and cultural pursuits, Giovalli has a genuine love for music, dance, and the outdoors. In her free time, she enjoys dancing salsa and experiencing live music, interests that reflect her energetic personality and appreciation for rhythm and culture. Equally important to her is spending time in nature. She enjoys exploring parks and walking trails, where she can connect with the natural environment that has inspired much of her academic journey and passion for environmental awareness.

As Miss Panama US, Giovalli’s goal is to represent Panamanians and the Panamanian community throughout the United States at the highest caliber possible. She hopes to carry the title with grace, professionalism, cultural pride, and a genuine commitment to service while celebrating the accomplishments, traditions, and diversity of Panamanians across the nation.

Proud of her Brooklyn upbringing and equally proud of her Panamanian heritage, Giovalli represents a generation that honors where it comes from while looking confidently toward the future. Through education, culture, service, and leadership, she looks forward to using her platform to proudly carry the spirit of Panama wherever her journey takes her.
